Cultural Council for Palm Beach County
A performance featuring Deon Jefferson celebrating Black people for Black History Month, performing songs that uplift and inspire. The musicians intend to take you on a musical journey that you will never forget. Paying tribute to George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, as well as the Black transgender men and women who have died due to police brutality.
Expect to hear some gospel songs and some family favorites from the Black community. We will start the performance with the Black national anthem. There will also be a small fashion show as the performances happen.
We invite guests to also enjoy the outdoor Makers Market, as well as the exhibitions on display in our galleries—which will be open late.
