The Village of North Palm Beach issued the following announcement on July 21.
To comply with a new Florida law, Village Code Compliance Officers can no longer act upon anonymous complaints of code violations unless there is an imminent threat to public health, safety, or welfare or imminent destruction of habitat or sensitive resources. Anyone who reports a potential violation of an ordinance must now provide their name and address before an enforcement proceeding may occur.
