CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH: CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH: City of West Palm Beach to Host FREE ‘Contacts & Contracts’ Event Online

City of West Palm Beach issued the following announcement on Oct. 29

The 2020 Fall edition of The City of West Palm Beach Procurement Quarterly Event ‘Contacts & Contracts’ will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. This virtual event will serve as the City’s final quarterly meeting of the year. During ‘Contacts & Contracts,’ local business owners can learn about upcoming procurement opportunities with the City, network with city staff, and network with local business owners during our Speed Networking Session. Learn the latest marketing strategies to finish 2020 strong!

During the two-hour event attendees will hear from:

  • Frank Hayden, Director, City of West Palm Beach Office of Equal Opportunity,
  • Patricia Armstrong, City of West Palm Beach Senior Purchasing Agent,
  • Mark Parks, City of West Palm Beach Chief Financial Officer, 
  • Kevin Volbrecht, City of West Palm Beach Director of Engineering Services, and
  • Courtney McKenzie Newell, Founder & CEO, Crowned Marketing & Communications.
In addition to learning about upcoming procurement opportunities, you will also learn about the MBE and SBE certifications offered by The City of West Palm Beach, ways to get certified, and how to leverage your certification.
