Halloween Festival: The Flying Dutchman

The North Palm Beach Library is proud to announce its third annual haunted house. This year, the library is combining with Parks and Recreation to execute a full day of fun with the Halloween Festival: The Flying Dutchman, on Saturday, Oct. 29th. Anchorage Park with transform into a spooktacular experience for visitors to come and watch the Flying Dutchman come to life before their eyes. Complete with pirates, sirens, and plenty of watery graves.

The day will offer hay rides, a haunted trail (recommended for ages 8+), food, music, a petting zoo, and even more carnival games than last year. Additionally, we will be offering contests for guests. Guests can bring jack o' lanterns for our Pumpkin Carving Contest, come dressed up in their favorite costumes for a Costume Contest, and end the evening with a Pie Eating Contest. With Your Wristband Purchase:

  • Haunted Trail (recommended for ages 8+, unlimited walk-throughs)
  • Hay Ride (unlimited rides)
  • Petting Zoo (available until 6:00 p.m.)
  • Carnival Games (unlimited)
  • Access to Lil' Pirate Treasure Hunt (begins at 4:30)
Lil' Pirate Treasure Hunt: 

Don't miss our treasure hunt for your lil' pirate! Our Treasure Hunt is for younger children to hunt for treasure around the playground. The Treasure Hunt starts at 4:30 p.m. and ends when all the treasure is found! Wristbands must be purchased ahead of time. Under three is free. The Treasure Hunt is recommended for up to 7 years old.
