Lynn University recently issued the following announcement.
Josh Fountain has been named the SSC Swimmer of the Week after his performance in Lynn's dual meet against Florida Tech on Saturday. This is the first time that Fountain has earned SSC Swimmer of the Week honors in his career.
The Lilburn, Georgia product won the 200 Free with a time of 1:43.19 and the 500 Free with a time of 4:49.99. He also finished third in the 100 Free with a time of 48.19 and was a member of the second-place 200 medley relay team.
Fountain and the Fighting Knights will be back in action on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 3 p.m. against Emory & Henry College.
