The facility offered 180 beds in the period, exceeding the county average by 66 beds as of the first quarter of 2026. It maintained an average daily population of 174.1 residents.
CMS awarded Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Ce an overall rating of 4 out of 5, surpassing Florida’s average 3.3 rating for nursing homes.
The largest facility, The Joseph L Morse Health Center, Inc., reported 230 beds, while Darcy Hall of Life Care held the second spot with 220 beds.
Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Ce reported no fines or penalties during the first quarter of 2026.

Estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau show a continued rise in the nation’s older adult population, while younger cohorts decrease. Between 2020 and 2024, America’s population ages 65 and over grew by 13%, and those under 18 decreased by 1.7%. Over the last century, the older adult population increased dramatically, from 4.9 million in 1920 to over 61 million by 2024.
A 2021 study found that nearly half of Americans in this age group, totaling approximately 28 million, could need long-term services and supports, with more than one in three projected to ultimately need nursing home care.
“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
