On Friday, June 6, former Cardinal Newman High School standout Griffin Hugus’ current collegiate team the Miami Hurricanes lost 1-8 against the Louisville Cardinals in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Jim Patterson Stadium at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Louisville Cardinals in the tournament.

The Miami Hurricanes’ next game will take place on Saturday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at Jim Patterson Stadium.
